VEX ROBOTICS in Wellington
-
WelTec and Kiwibots have joined forces to bring the exciting world of VEX Robotics to schools in the greater Wellington region. Students are able to engage with each other and their robots in a supportive and fun filled environment.
WelTec is supporting a weekly VEX Robotics Build Night in N Block at the WelTec Petone campus, for students to build and even test their robots in scrimmages with other students. WelTec engineering students and/or staff will usually be nearby on "VEX Build Nights" on Thursday evenings during the academic year, to provide advice and support to students and teams with their VEX robot projects. In 2015, VEX Build Nights are scheduled for each Thursday evening during the WelTec teaching semesters, and they start at 4.00pm in the Mechatronics Lab - Room N106 in N Block. It will also provide a mechanism for email messages which might be of interest to the VEX community in Wellington, to be sent out to all interested people. It is possible for interested people (including high school students and their parents and teachers) to "self enrol" and to "self un-enrol" on this Moodle website, so that they can hear of updates via email. -
